The rooms are roomy and finished to a high standard, and breakfast was delicious and made to order. Two of our group are gluten sensitive, and the staff made special breakfast items for them. Barbara was lovely and helpful. You do have to drive 15 minutes up from town, but the views make it worthwhile. We live in the Rocky Mountains, and we’ve never seen views this good. Absolutely stunning place.

Barbara made the stay feel like being at home, looking after every detail and sharing plenty of tips on restaurants, sights, and things to do. Breakfast had freshly baked cakes and biscuits, honey made there, and fruit straight from the garden. The room was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed, with a lovely lake view from our own terrace above Pisogne. We enjoyed every minute at Alveare sul lago. Five stars don’t seem enough, so let’s call it six! Thanks, Barbara, for an unforgettable holiday. Hope we meet again, and get in touch if you make that Germany trip someday.

We had amazing service and food at this little corner of heaven on Lake Iseo. The setting is stunning, with a view to die for. Highly recommend it.
