Hotel Villa Astoria

We booked the “Superior Double or Twin Balcony and Sea View” room, and the sea view was amazing. The rooms were clean and fresh, the staff were friendly, and it’s a great hotel overall. It’s beside the bus terminal for airport buses and other tours, and just a short walk from the main shopping and tourist area.

The ocean-side views were beautiful, and the rooms worked out great for us. My wife and I had a wonderful stay. Everyone we met who works here was friendly and professional in a very genuine way. You’re simply the best!

Luca and Marzia helped make our trip wonderful. The staff went above and beyond, recommending nearby places that lived up to what they’d said and making us a map so it was easy to find the attractions. My room had a beautiful view of the ocean and mountains, and I had an excellent stay at Villa Astoria. I’d book the same place if I came back.

Luca gave us a friendly welcome and useful tips on routes, places to eat and things to do in Taormina. Mauro, the owner, was always happy to chat, and Giuseppe served a nice breakfast every day. The staff were all very friendly. It was lovely to unwind with a drink in the garden, where hotel dog Lucy was always keen to play but calm at the same time. We spent the last week of June there with a friend, and it was a very pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. This small hotel is close to the main street, Corso Umberto, but far enough away that it’s relatively quiet. It’s across from the bus station, handy if you arrive by bus, visit nearby villages or join tours. The cable car to the beach is nearby, too. We definitely hope to return. Thanks to the staff for a lovely week at Villa Astoria.
