Villa Nunzia

We all felt very much at home in this fantastic house, which worked well for all nine of us. There is plenty of room indoors across two well-equipped apartments, and a large outdoor area with a shaded veranda, foosball table, well-kept pool, green lawn, and parking for up to four cars. The big roof terrace has fantastic panoramic views, though we didn't make much use of it. The owners were friendly and quickly helped with small problems, though they only speak Italian. There's a dog, kept in a cage during our stay, as well as chickens, pheasants, a cat, and two peacocks. You could definitely hear the peacocks at night. The place is quite secluded and not easy to find, which makes it ideal for a holiday.

The garden gives you lots of privacy and keeps you well away from the neighbors. The pool is large and clean, the amenities are plentiful, and the house sleeps up to nine. It's set in the countryside right beside Pisticci, with the sea about 20 minutes away and the nearest shops roughly 5 km away. Nunzia and Lino were warm, welcoming, and helpful hosts who did their best to meet our wishes. They also offered useful tips on request for enjoying a stay in southern Italy. There are plenty of places to visit nearby, including Matera, Alberobello, Graco, Pisticci, and Taranto. A great recommendation for anyone who likes country living but wants the city within easy reach. Thank you for your hospitality, Nunzia and Lino!

A full swimming pool for relaxing, in an admirable setting. I recommend it.
