We were close to the station, which made it easy to catch the train to Florence or explore Pistoia. Both are well worth visiting. We had booked a double bed but asked for two singles, and they switched it overnight, giving us an excellent room. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was okay.

The hotel is very close to the historic center, and my room was quiet, practical, and basic but fair for what I paid. Breakfast was good and the attendants were kind. But there was rubbish in a drawer, including cigarette ash, and it left an unpleasant smoke smell in the room. When I complained, I was told it couldn't be cleaned until the next morning, so I had to sleep with that smell. It frankly ruined my stay, and I don't plan to return because of this serious flaw.

The staff were really nice and the location was good. Breakfast was pleasant, too. The rooms, though, are very old, as if they haven't been painted since the days when you could pay in lire in Italy. My bathroom was tiny and really dirty, and the shower floor had mold that I found pretty disgusting.

A good deal for somewhere quite basic and inexpensive, with super friendly staff. For winter, I could've used more blankets, and warmer ones.

The people working here are nice, and they offer breakfast, which is good. It's very close to the center, so it's a decent place for a short stay. Just be aware that street cleaning at night makes it noisy.
