I stayed in the apartment with my boyfriend for a night, and everything matched what the owner had described. Seeing the underground cellar was fascinating, though a little creepy too. The downsides were the dampness and woodworms in the headboard.

Thank goodness we only spent one night there. This is a basement, not really an apartment, and the renovation was poor. The bathroom was filthy, the shower was put together with the wrong door, and the toilet flushed loudly. The toilet seat was broken, the fridge leaked, and the floor stayed wet. The listing says there's no Wi-Fi, but leaves out that there is no phone signal inside either. There are no windows apart from one in the bathroom, and a strange trapdoor with stairs leads off to who knows where. The whole thing was horrifying.

Quiet, spotless, and incredibly comfortable room. A magical place, and a great base for exploring the sights around Pitigliano. Highly recommended!

That hidden cellar is fantastic.
