Residenza Vinci Room & Suite

Wow

The price was €450 for two nights, and the service fell far short of what I expected. I've never experienced this even in the humblest, simplest accommodations. The bathroom window was broken and couldn't be opened, and without a door on the shower, water flooded the floor. No photos, unfortunately. The room was in the attic, where you had to watch your head around the beams. Breakfast and bidet towels weren't included. Worse, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. In the evening, the beds had been made, but the bathroom was still as we'd left it, with toothpaste and hair on the sink and towels left in a mess. I can't understand what the other reviews are based on, and I'm sorry to disagree with them so completely.

The quadruple room had a lovely gulf view that made the stay feel heavenly, and both the furnishings and cleanliness were excellent. I stayed there with my family for four nights a month ago. It was a last-minute choice since I have a house of my own in Pizzo, but for organizational reasons I couldn't sleep there. I searched a lot and found only rude people asking absurd prices for rundown places. This owner found us a solid, comfortable room straight away, was very kind, and was considerate about the price. Top marks. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be the breakfast. Otherwise, top!

The mattresses were extremely comfortable, and the rooms had all the amenities, including a mini-bar. The B&B is just steps from the center, and waking up to the sea from bed makes you want to stay longer. After all my travels, I'd put this among the best places in Pizzo. Thanks to Gregorio, the owner, for his hospitality. If you're coming to Pizzo, check this little place out. Patrik.
