Fattoria Le Fonti

We spent four nights here with family and friends for our son's wedding. The apartments were rustic, romantic, and well appointed, and the venue itself is beautiful, with amazing views and delicious wine. Everyone had a wonderful time. We’re grateful to the staff for their generous hospitality and all the care they took to make the experience memorable. Bellissimo!

The property has magnificent views, and I’d highly recommend stopping by this winery when you’re in Tuscany. We had a wonderful tasting of the wines and olive oil. Both were really good, especially the delicious wines, and we bought some bottles to ship home.

Even with a last-minute booking, we felt welcome as soon as we reached Fattoria Le Fonti. Fabio showed us to Le Torre, where we were staying, and later helped us choose places to eat, calling restaurants to book tables for us. The estate was a lovely place to spend time. From the balcony and the pool we could see the Chianti hills, and we were given a bottle of their Chianti Classico along with a generous taste of their olive oil. We really enjoyed both. Our second day included a wine tasting in one of the main buildings. We toured the winery and learned how they make the wine, then walked through the vineyard and tried grapes from the vine. Fabio told us about the local area, the soil in the Chianti hills, and the estate's biodiversity. We even met the horse that roams freely there. He led the tasting with plenty of knowledge and humor, taking us from lighter wines to fuller ones. The Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Reserva, and Vin Santo stood out for us. We had fresh bread, salt, and their olive oil with the wines, and Fabio's explanations made the tasting fun and educational. We left inspired and keen to come back. A memorable stay for us, especially if you enjoy wine, nature, and warm hospitality.

We only had time for one wine tasting, and choosing Fattoria Le Fonti worked out so well. My husband, daughter, and I unexpectedly got a private tour and tasting. The winery grounds and tasting room were charming, and the wines were top notch. Bread, cheese, prosciutto, and that olive oil all went down perfectly. Fabio, whom we nicknamed “Fabulous” ourselves, made the visit memorable with his humor, knowledge, and hospitality. Grazie molto, Fabio, and thanks for agreeing to take a picture with us!
