Sonia and Angelo made us feel welcome from the start, and were happy to share tips and recommendations while we were there. We had a great time in this peaceful spot, which is still handy for amenities and for visiting historic, beautiful towns such as San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Monteriggioni and Greve in Chianti. We hope to come back and would recommend it to anyone staying in Tuscany.

Sonia and Angelo were what made this stay feel so special. They were caring, fun, flexible and incredibly helpful from the time we booked until we left. They welcomed us with local wine, brought homemade olive oil, ham and olives, shared great tips for the area, and even let us join them for an olive harvest. They handled everything in a way that felt COVID secure. Some of our favourite Italy holiday photos are of our seven-month-old among the olive trees and around the garden. We'll always treasure those memories, and can't thank them enough. The grounds are even more beautiful than the pictures suggest: olive trees, a garden, a stunning view and all sorts of useful things, including a hot tub, barbecue, wood-fired oven, electric meat slicer and swing set. The weather wasn't great while we were there, but we still made a point of spending time outside and walking our baby through the trees each day. The house was comfortable like our own home, while still feeling like a real treat. It had everything we could need, and then some. We'd spent six weeks travelling around Italy and stayed in some great Airbnbs, but this was easily our favourite. A private gate was nice to have, and the place is well placed for Florence, Siena and other trips. San Gimignano is a must. If you can, arrive before dark: the place is simple to find, though (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps thought we'd reached the address before we actually had. Sonia and Angelo will find you and help if needed. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wanting an authentic Tuscan experience.

Sonia took wonderful care of us, and the home had everything we needed to cook, rest and sleep well. The location is unbelievably beautiful. We can't wait to return to this special place.

We spent a week here and loved it. Some days we visited nearby places, and other days we had a lazy time in the garden. Breakfast outside was lovely, and we simply enjoyed ourselves. Thank you, we'd like to come back someday.
