If you care about your trip and your money, stay away from this place. I spent two hours going to the local Carabinieri to complain about Nicola Moscatiello. After the officer called him about my complaint, he dropped his request for money. We paid €152 for two rooms, taxes included, but when we arrived at the building around 21:15, nobody was there. Our train had reached Polignano a Mare at 20:45. Nicola said check-in ended at 18:00 and demanded €20 per room for late check-in, plus €40 for cleaning. We waited outside the main door for 45 minutes and had to pay to get in, even though the travel agency said he had no right to ask for it. We paid so the holiday wouldn't be ruined, but our room was never serviced during the five days. While my wife was sliding the shower door as she got out, it suddenly exploded into thousands of pieces with a loud bang. Thank God nobody was injured. We asked Nicola to come urgently. When he arrived, he went downstairs to the other room, where our daughters were staying, and started tightening the glass door wheels with hex screwdrivers. Why would he do that? The next day he messaged that the glass cost €250 and offered us €150, asking us to kindly pay the remaining €100. He said he'd get the money from the insurance company, so we refused. The broken glass wasn't cleaned up properly, and we spent the rest of our holiday with pieces all over the room. After we checked out of the other room, Nicola messaged to say the radiator temperature control had been removed and that they'd need to call a plumber, at a cost. Our daughters are 19 and 21, not children. He also deleted our WhatsApp conversations, but luckily I'd forwarded his messages to the travel agency, so copies remained in that other chat. He doesn't speak English and can only communicate with you on WhatsApp. Pay attention to this person.

The room we were given was a dark, airless semi-basement facing the street. The listing showed a bright room with large windows, so the Booking.com photos were very misleading. There was visible black mold in the bathroom and dampness and saltpeter all over the walls. The tiny window had no mosquito net, making proper ventilation impossible. The air conditioner was broken and shut off by itself every six minutes, leaving the air humid and hard to breathe. These conditions made the apartment unlivable, so we left right away and booked somewhere else. I consider the property completely unfit to rent and will take official steps to report it to the health and consumer protection authorities. Avoid it.

The room was nicely designed and well equipped, with a spacious bathroom, but looking out the first-floor window you see only a wall. It felt very claustrophobic. Breakfast was a joke: two bottles of water, a supermarket croissant taken from a larger pack, and one coffee capsule per person, nothing more. The tiny fridge held just two water bottles and a can of Coca-Cola, and it hung on the wall and made noise almost all night.
