Pescamare Apartment Polignano A Mare

We were welcomed with a lovely surprise, and the terrace was a great spot for breakfast with a bit of a sea view. The house is clean and pleasant, spread across three levels. It's also close to the old town and the pedestrian area with restaurants. Definitely recommend it.

Riccardo was quick to reply, helpful and professional, and the apartment was clean when we arrived. His wife's freshly baked cake was a lovely welcome. We also liked the comfortable main bedroom bed and the views over the streets and Adriatic Sea from the balconies and third-floor terrace. Shops and markets are nearby, the restaurant and bar pedestrian area is very close, and the famous bridge is only a short walk away. The station takes about 15 minutes on foot. The missing Wi-Fi was the main letdown, especially in 2019, when many travellers from abroad need it to avoid roaming charges. There's no TV in the combined kitchen and living area either, though that wouldn't have bothered us much if Wi-Fi had been available.

Riccardo made the stay especially easy, with tips on parking, beaches and places to eat, and complimentary local treats at the house. Casa Viola had everything we needed and was the best equipped place I've stayed in. We were there as a couple during the week of August 15th, and found it incredibly relaxing. A well-earned five stars. I'd happily recommend it and hope to come back soon. Thanks!

Anna was so friendly and gave us lots of useful information. The accommodation is in a handy spot, around a ten-minute walk from the train station and fifteen minutes from the bus station for Naples.
