Vingt-Sept

The staff were kind, the room was spacious, and breakfast was delicious. We celebrated our wedding anniversary at b&b27 and were even given a little treat. A lovely stay, mille grazie a tutti!

The rooms look nice, but the breakfast was lousy.

The location is a real plus, just a short walk from Lama Monachile and the city center, and the stay was excellent value. We parked privately for €15 per day. It’s about a 13-minute walk away, but in August that seemed worthwhile to avoid possible fines or vehicle damage, and the hassle of spending ages circling for a space. The studio is compact but cleverly laid out, with a kitchenette, a single sofa bed, a double bedroom, and a private bathroom. We were welcomed with fresh fruit, coffee pods for the kitchen machine, toast, and packaged jams, then got two delicious pasticciotti on departure. The owner was incredibly kind, and we really appreciated the thoughtful surprises.

The staff were really friendly and gave us plenty of tips on places to eat and visit, and the value was excellent. This is a lovely B&B and a good choice for visiting Polignano. The rooms and the rest of the property are beautifully designed, and we liked our purple room. It seems especially suited to young couples. Ours was quite narrow and could use a bit more space-saving thought. At times the design gets in the way of practicality, like the fairly flat bathroom sink that splashes easily.
