We had a great evening with delicious food. We shared three pasta dishes between two people, then tried some traditional regional sweets the host suggested. The menu mixes classic Italian pasta with Asian dishes prepared by his wife. The restaurant sits beautifully among the old castle ruins, and its entrance really does look like a Templar hiding place. The owner was friendly and chatted with us about his travels in my homeland, Malta, and his lovely Asian wife. Recommended.

We tried the antipasto, pad Thai, and Sicilian salad, and the service was impeccable. My wife and I highly recommend a visit, even if you're not staying at the hotel. You might not expect unbelievable Thai food in a picturesque village of just 3,000 people, with possibly fewer than 10 restaurants. The Sicilian chef met his Thai wife in Thailand, and she cooks wonderfully.

The menu has a great mix of local and international food, and we'd absolutely return. We had the casarecce with hazelnuts, a burger, pad Thai with shrimp, and casarecce with sugo di selvaggina. Every dish tasted delicious and carefully made. The pasta was rich and flavorful, especially the sugo di selvaggina, with its deep, comforting taste. The homemade pad Thai was a real surprise, balanced just right and full of authentic flavor. The burger was juicy and satisfying, too.

The owner was kind, and the setting in an old castle is so unusual. We had the little patio to ourselves, which was peaceful and pretty, with great music. The creamy sausage and mushroom pasta was one of the best I've had in Sicily, full of flavor and nicely balanced. Generous portion, too.

The food was great and very affordable, and you can choose Sicilian or Thai dishes since the owner's wife is Thai. The owners are friendly and glad to share the history. The husband has lived in this distinctive village all his life and knows a huge amount about it. He speaks English quite well. The old building is beautiful, set among the remains of an ancient castle.
