What stood out most was the setting: the garden was kept beautifully, and the terrace looks out over the sea for breakfast and lunch. My room had views of both the garden and the sea, with breathtaking sunsets. The private beach was fantastic too, with spectacular water, and the 2025 Blue Flag seems well deserved. The lifeguard, who I think was called Maurizio, and his assistant were real professionals, always kind and available even with a big crowd. The room, though, felt stuck in the past, with visible dust and 1980s furnishings. The bathroom had a blocked air vent and unattractive aquamarine tiles. Prices also seemed out of proportion: water was €3.50 for 0.75 cl, and the dinner menu was expensive for the portions. Breakfast was decent, lunch was good, especially the fish, but service sometimes felt cold and rushed. I stayed at Hotel La Playa in the third week of September. The sea and location made it a pleasant three days, but the overall quality didn't match the price. Personally, I wouldn't come back.

We've been making the long drive here for years, and the lovely beach and the hotel's parking are part of the appeal. It's also only a few steps from the charming town of Acciaroli. The property is clean, and breakfast and dinner are served on a big sea-view terrace, where the colorful Cilento sunsets are beautiful. Dinner is simple food, prepared carefully with quality ingredients. Breakfast is fine, though the variety and quality could be better. Ilenia and Andrea at reception are always available, and the dinner waiters are very kind. Special thanks to Maurizio, who is always ready to understand what guests need and help accommodate them.

A real little gem in a lovely spot, with an enviable location. The staff are so friendly. Special praise for Mr. Carmine, the lifeguard, who is professional, kind, and always willing to help. He's a delightful person and does his best to make your holiday calmer and more relaxing.
