The only downside was having to leave. We slept really well in the quiet location, with a great mattress, and beaches and Vasto were only a short drive away. Parking right outside the door was handy too. The host greeted us warmly and gave us all the information we needed. He asked what we wanted for breakfast, then made homemade pancakes for our daughters and omelettes with vegetables for us. It was delicious. The brand-new loft is spacious and nicely decorated, with WiFi, a coffee machine, a kitchen, and all the appliances we needed. There are two powerful air conditioners, though we only needed to switch one on. We had a wonderful stay.

We came for one night and ended up staying almost a week. It was the kind of peaceful break we hadn’t even known we needed. The hosts were so kind, happy to help when needed, and also gave us room to relax. They made delicious breakfasts and easily accommodated our vegan and vegetarian diets. The place has everything you might need and sits among vineyards and olive groves. Stefania, Domenico, thank you. We hope to see you again!

For €120 a night, I expected better breakfast and clearer information about payment. We were told a day after arriving that payment had to be in cash, and we weren’t given a receipt. Breakfast was scant. On day one, there was one omelette for the three of us; the next day, one egg each. No cheese, yogurt, prosciutto, or sausages, and the bread was only fried. A tomato meant for all three of us and a piece of cantaloupe had mold on them. Why serve guests food you wouldn’t eat yourself? The apartments are in the middle of nowhere, with no cafes or shops within walking distance. There’s no shade from trees or a canopy where you park. The air conditioners didn’t cool the room enough, and the apartment wasn’t cool when we arrived.

We spent four days here and had a great time. It was quiet and peaceful, the beds were really comfortable, and the house had all the comforts of home. The food was fantastic, and the view was amazing. The hosts are lovely and treated us like family. I highly recommend staying here.
