The pool was nice, and the property itself wasn't bad, but this was a terrible stay for us. The valley is, in my opinion, the ugliest in all Tuscany. A geothermal power plant makes a horrible sulfur-like smell, and we couldn't sleep. There are lots of cooling towers on the hills, smoking all day, and the valley feels like a wasteland. Avoid it if you don't like industrial buildings and a constant smell. The road up to the villa is so narrow you'll probably scratch your car, and the mosquitoes will eat you in seconds if you don't mind them. The silverware was dirty and damaged. We've traveled all over Tuscany and never stayed in such an ugly valley 👎

Lovely little place, and everyone was really friendly. If you're after a relaxing break, this is the spot.

Our week here went by so fast, and we can't wait to book again. The owners were fantastic and helped us with anything that came up. We stayed in the Olivo apartment in the Tuscan hills. It was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed, with a double bedroom, kitchen and living room, and two bathrooms. The view was wonderful. There’s private parking, an outdoor pool, a heated indoor pool in winter, a sauna, and a gym with multiple pieces of equipment. The common room has billiards, table football, ping pong, and a piano, plus there’s a grill area with a pizza oven. Pomarance is about 8 km away, with a supermarket, soccer and basketball courts, a playground, and camper parking. Pisa, Livorno, Siena, Florence, and Volterra are all within an hour's drive.

The owners were friendly and made us feel at home in this peaceful spot in the Tuscan hills. Our apartment was especially charming, with a loft bed, and the apartments are beautiful and fully equipped. There’s a large, well-kept pool with comfy loungers and a gazebo for sunny days. On warm evenings, you can use the lawn, tables, and barbecues. We’d recommend the stay and would happily come back.
