We stayed for three nights, 09/10/2025 - 12/10/2025. It was my second trip to Italy and my first time in Rome. We booked after reading good reviews online, and this is my honest take on our stay. The hotel was nice, clean, and well maintained. The bed and shower were excellent, and the restaurant staff were very friendly. Getting into central Rome was a challenge. The receptionist said there was no shuttle, and the area felt isolated. It took about a 15-minute walk through an industrial area to reach the nearest bus stop. Parking was available, but it cost €15 per day, which didn’t match what the main website said. We also had an unpleasant encounter with an older female receptionist who wasn’t very polite. There was no kettle in the room, and we were told we had to buy one. That seemed unusual after more than 30 years of travelling around Europe, since most 4-star hotels provide at least a basic kettle. The same receptionist seemed dismissive and unhelpful when we asked straightforward questions about shuttle and taxi services.

I stayed three nights on a work trip. The room’s ventilation or cooling didn’t work, and the bathroom smelled really bad. We also had trouble with payment through our company’s travel agent. The restaurant food was expensive, too.

After 12h of travel, the welcome drink and snack really made my day. I stayed six nights for work, close to where I needed to be, and the bed was so comfortable I had a hard time getting up. Breakfast was very good, with more than just the sweet things Italy usually offers. The staff were super friendly, and the dinner menu is worth trying too. I think it was the first time I’d had good octopus. I’m sure this will be my choice for my next business trip, which I think will be soon.
