B&B Domus Michaeli

The view of Vesuvius from our room was amazing, and the location was perfect. We spent 8 nights at Domus Michaeli, and the rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable. The owner made us feel at home the whole time. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Even though the apartment is shared among 4 rooms, it was quiet and peaceful. There’s a common area with tables and a coffee maker, and free street parking. The room was lovely, with different decor from the others, a soft cozy bed that fit two perfectly, and a sparkling clean bathroom and shower. The whole apartment had only been refurbished one month ago, and the value for the price is incredible. You can see Mount Vesuvius from the balcony and two of the rooms, which was so cool. Catello was incredibly accommodating. We booked VERY last minute, at 7 pm that same day, and he replied quickly and met us as soon as he could so we could get in by 8. He was kind, made us coffee when we arrived, and in the morning put together a lovely breakfast. He even brought us Graffe from a local baker, a special breakfast treat from Napoli. Such a thoughtful gesture. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and was available by phone if we needed anything. We’ll absolutely stay here again next time we’re in Pompei. Catello made our time in Pompeii so enjoyable. He was helpful, accommodating, and full of information. Domus Michaeli B&B was a perfect place to stay, close to great restaurants, in a very safe area, and with plenty of parking. The beds were really comfortable, and the Mt. Vesuvius view looked like a postcard. I’ll be back to Pompei with my new family. It was an experience of a lifetime.

Breakfast was the best of all the B&Bs I stayed at in Italy, with a good choice of juices, fruit, and sweet and savoury pastries. The owners clearly care about guests’ experience and run an excellent B&B. It’s in a safe community with friendly neighbours. The rooms are lovely, spacious, well designed, and clean, with soundproof windows and beautiful mountain views. Highly recommend!
