The sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated, but they were clean and very well maintained. The pitches aren't huge, though there's enough room for motorhomes. The owners are very friendly, and the location is perfect, right opposite the entrance to the city of Pompeii.

We left the car here while visiting Pompeii. There was plenty of space, and parking cost 10 euros.

I've stayed here twice, years apart, and had a great time both times. I was here backpacking in 1990, and it's a great place to stay, with Pompeii ruins just across the road for an easy stroll. The second visit was with the kids. It was still easy and accommodating, even when a huge storm flooded our tent and we had to get a cabin at short notice for the night. I'd recommend it and will try to stay again when I'm back in Italy :-)

The location is a good starting point for visiting Pompei, and that's the only good thing I can say. Overnight, ants were all over our motorhome, inside and out. I know that's nature, but they could have warned us. It would have been easier to put something around the motorhome to keep them away than to catch them once they got inside. The bathroom and toilet facilities are very old and basic, and trains passing by can disturb your sleep. One really bad thing was how the staff's faces changed after we asked for an official bill. They seemed normal at first, then became unfriendly when we asked.
