The bed felt a bit firm, probably better for back sleepers than side sleepers, though it could be handy if you’re trying to straighten out your spine after a couple of days walking around the ruins. Otherwise, the apartment was clean and well stocked, and Valeria kept replenishing the supplies. The heating worked, and I assume the cooling does too, though we didn’t need it. It’s in a gated apartment area on a very quiet side street, close to shops and places to eat, the Santuario church, the station, and the Amphitheatre entrance to the archaeological site. Valeria was a splendid hostess and always available when we needed something, even by WhatsApp. It was an excellent place to stay in Pompei. Thank you, Valeria.

Our room/suite was spacious, and we really liked having the little balcony. Breakfast was simple and already set out in the room, with some delicious things from Valeria’s own garden added in. The location was great, just a short walk from the old city of Pompeii. Valeria was a wonderful host, made us feel welcome, replied quickly to our questions, and had useful local recommendations. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks, Valeria!

We’d have booked more days at "City life" if we could. The hostess was warm, polite, and lovely, and the facilities were perfect. Getting there is easy by public or private transport, with the train station no more than 350 meters away. Restaurants are nearby, from classy to simple, and there are plenty of gift shops too. Our stay was more than satisfactory, and if we return to Pompei, we’ll choose this place again. Thanks for everything! Ciao e alla prossima!

Valeria has made this place feel like home, and she was a fantastic host, quick to answer every question and always helpful. It’s close to several train stations and lots of restaurants, and one entrance to pompei was about a 10-minute walk away. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done.

The landlady was unbelievably friendly, open, and warm, and even let us use her own parking spot. Our rooms and the bathrooms were spotless and cosy, with inventive lighting. Breakfast was traditional Italian, and the coffee was delicious. If you’re planning a visit to Pompeii, choose City Life Pompeii!
