The host was so kind, waiting longer than expected when our bus didn’t show and we had to walk. We felt safe in the room and out walking around, with locks at the gate, main door, our floor door, and room door. It’s about a 10-minute walk to pompeii main entrance, with tons of food options nearby. It’s a local area, though not the nicest part of town. Our renovated apartment was really nice, with a queen bed, couch, kitchen with sink, dishes, plates, cups and silverware, mini fridge, bathroom with soap, and a lovely patio with a clothesline. The room was clean, with fresh towels and linens. Breakfast was fresh too: croissants with Nutella or cherry jam, cereal, bread, espresso and a machine, six types of tea, juice, and milk in the mini fridge. I noticed from older reviews and photos that more renovations have been done. Nothing is perfect, but we had a truly lovely stay. Highly recommend!

A good deal in Pompei, with nice rooms, AC, and private bathrooms. It’s quiet and still only a 10-minute walk from the station. The address is #40, but the number is painted on the post by the gate and hard to spot. Walk through the shortcut from the main shopping street instead of taking Google’s long way around, unless you’re driving.

The location is good, close to everything. The bedroom itself looks modern and clean, but the building is old and poorly maintained. A family with a dog in the next room had it barking all night, and on the second night there were loud, frightening fights in that bedroom too.
