Gioielli House Apartment

We stayed at Gioielli House for our summer holiday and would happily return. Angela, the owner, was always kind and ready to help, took care of every request, and gave us useful help getting around, including for a visit to Sorrento. Thank you so much, and see you next time! Being right in the city center made it easy to reach restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, and more. The B&B is also a short walk from the station for trains to Naples. For Pompeii’s excavations, the location worked especially well: it’s just 100mt from the entrance at piazza immacolata and 100mt from the square of the Santa vergine Maria, where the beautiful, striking sanctuary of Pompeii stands. It’s a welcoming place, and, above all, clean.

The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of pastries, juice, yogurt, and even savory food. Our room was lovely, clean, and comfortable, and we could look out over the small courtyard where breakfast was served. There’s a nearby parking lot guests can use, which made it easy to leave the car and see Pompeii on foot. The property is in the center, not far from the sanctuary, with bars, cafés, pizzerias, and restaurants all around. When we arrived, a kind woman showed us the rooms and explained how things worked. We were late because of traffic, and she was very patient with us. The owners and property deserve five stars. Thanks for making us feel welcome. Highly recommended.

We had a really good time here. The place was impressively clean, and our room was spacious and well equipped, with a comfortable bed and a good shower. It’s close to the Pompeii Park and lots of restaurants. Two small things: there was nowhere to hang the bath towel, and the Wi-Fi only worked in one corner of the room. For some reason, phone reception didn’t work there either, and I found the signal pretty weak throughout the city. That made the lack of regular Wi-Fi a bit annoying. We were out most of the day, though, so it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t take away from how good the experience was.

Angela was kind and available whenever we needed something, and the free parking just 100 meters from the property was a nice bonus. This B&B is right in central Pompeii, close to the excavations entrance on Piazza Immacolata. I’ll definitely come back.
