La Maison Pompeiana

Teresa welcomed me with great kindness and was very helpful. The service showed real care, professionalism, and attention to detail, and I'd definitely choose the same place if I return. My room was new and had everything I needed: a TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee maker, hairdryer, and a very comfortable double bed. Everything was impeccably clean, including the spotless, high-quality towels. The bathroom was beautiful, with a huge shower and strong water pressure, plus a bidet. The area is quiet and peaceful, and I slept very well. It's in a quiet, safe residential area, about a seven-minute walk from the sanctuary and main streets. The Circumvesuviana station is easy to reach for trips to Herculaneum and other archaeological sites. On the walk toward the center there are small neighborhood shops and a pizzeria. The excavations, at the entrance to the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, are about a 15-minute walk away. Breakfast comes in a small, varied bag. Highly recommended.

We had such a wonderful stay that we came back shortly afterward. On that return visit, we were surprised to find a lovely display of towels and petals in the room, as shown in the photos. The rooms are large and the bathroom is wonderful, with a superb shower. Everything was exceptionally clean in this new, welcoming, homely place. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was complimentary, as were the water and juices in the room's mini fridge. The location is handy for short walks to Pompeii, the sanctuary, and the excavations, while still being in a quiet area. There's free parking, plus a grocery store and pizzeria nearby. I highly recommend it.

Teresa, the owner, is the standout, she's extremely kind and helpful, and the hospitality and availability were excellent. The property is in a residential park about 800 meters from the center, with plenty of free parking spaces. It's only a few minutes' walk from the excavations, and the location is convenient, with a supermarket and self-service laundry 50 meters away.

The host was friendly and helpful, and the room had complimentary breakfast items, a coffee machine, kettle, and mini fridge. This is a new, welcoming B&B, tastefully furnished and equipped with the comforts needed for either work or leisure. It's especially convenient if you're driving, thanks to free parking on a quiet street. The center of Pompeii is only a few minutes away on foot, with the Basilica about a 15-minute walk away. Recommended.
