A lovely hidden gem, perfectly placed for the historic sites at Pompei and Herculaneum, which you can reach by train. The welcome and service are incredibly good. I highly recommend staying for the home-cooked evening meal.

The room was large, comfortable and very clean, and the food was outstanding. Giussepe, Lorena and the whole staff were amazing, attentive and helpful with everything we needed. At Villa Franca you feel right at home. Thank you so much for a great stay. We’ll definitely come back.

The personal service, the pool and the incredible traditional Italian dinner made our night at Villa Franca special. I’ve never sweated so much in my life! The room was clean, the AC worked, and the ruins were an easy walk away. Giuseppe was a fantastic host while my friends and I visited Pompeii and Herculaneum. We even got to invite a friend who was staying at another hotel, which we really appreciated.

Dinner was worth ordering, even though it was the chef's choice with no menu, and the included breakfast was wonderful. We found this family-run hotel on a good friend's recommendation after they stayed here a couple of years ago. It's an easy walk to the station and the main entrance to the Pompeii Archeological Site, and we'll recommend it to friends too.

After a tiring day in Pompeii, we came here just to eat. The four-course meal was all homemade, authentic Italian food, and absolutely fabulous. It's a real hidden gem. I can't recommend it enough, and I'll definitely come back.
