We paid 30€ per night for two people and a tent, arriving by bike with no car. The campsite was peaceful, spacious, green, and clean, with a beautiful view of the Vesuvius.

The gardens were beautiful, with views of Mount Versuivus, and the owner made us feel very welcome. The villa is lovely and close to Pompeii ruins. The rooms felt fairly dated and could use some updating, but we really enjoyed our short stay 😊

The owner and his wife were very friendly, though neither speaks English. He used Google Translate on his phone when we needed to communicate, and his daughter was also friendly and speaks English if she’s around. They helped us find free parking and good places to eat. Breakfast was nice, and our small room was clean, with a large balcony. The shower was tiny. Villa Julia is along a bumpy, narrow street and can be hard to spot. I’d stay again, as long as you’re not expecting a fancy place with lots of amenities.

We were parked among mandarin trees, with lovely views of Mount Vesuvius and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Pompeii is close enough to walk to if you want, and the station for Napoli and Sorrento is nearby too. Pasquale is an excellent host.

The owner was friendly, and the site had good facilities. Even the toilets had paper. It felt like a safe, clean place to stop with a motorhome. The roads getting there are narrow, and unless you drive into pompeii, the walk back from town is long and steep. I’d certainly return.
