Casa Corinna

A good place.)

The room we eventually stayed in at La Tana dell'orso was comfortable and nice, and its owner was very kind. Still, the change of accommodation caused us a lot of trouble. Only a month before our trip, I was told that a technical problem meant my partner and I couldn't stay at the property we had booked. Instead, we'd be moved to another B&B with the same standard, about 300 meters from Casa Corinna. Private parking was a key reason we'd chosen the original place, and the alternative had no parking. When I raised the difference in amenities, I was told, "But you have a TV over there." A TV doesn't help me when I need parking. I also asked whether my sister and her partner, who were booked at Casa Corinna, could join us at either B&B. They said no, even though they'd booked a month after us. The owner knew we were coming for Lucca Comics and Games, when finding another room at short notice is nearly impossible. I was told I could cancel if I didn't like the arrangement. It felt like our need for somewhere to stay was being used against us, and our requests were ignored. I wish I could rate the property itself, but this was a very disappointing experience.

The room was lovely, clean, comfortable, and even better than a hotel, with air conditioning and all the comforts. I arrived at an awkward time, after 7:00 PM, but the owner was patient, friendly, and helpful. Thank you so much!

I stopped here overnight while passing through on a motorcycle trip. The room had air conditioning, and the shared bathroom was tidy. Everything was clean and in order, and the owner was exceptionally kind and helpful. I’d gladly stay again if I get the chance.
