This rustic farmhouse is pretty spartan, and some areas still feel unfinished. We only stayed one night as a base. The woman who welcomed us was friendly, which we appreciated, and the rooms were clean and renovated. But the exterior isn’t attractive and the amenities are minimal. We also had a small mix-up over the drinking-water sign, since we didn’t realize right away it applied to only one of the two taps. It works for a night’s stop, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay.

We left early after being robbed while we were asleep on the first night. We weren’t offered any mediation, even for the part of the stay we’d paid for but didn’t use. I’m updating this after reading the owner’s comments. It was a terrible experience, and I paid for services I never used. I reserve the right to revise my rating and review if I get a chance to resolve the situation with the owner.

It’s a lovely place, like a little paradise, and the hosts are very kind and attentive. The house itself felt a bit cold to me, lacking warmth and life.

A delightful spot for enjoying real peace and quiet, with a stunning view of Rufina and Florence nearby.

Mostly, it’s a beautiful place in Rufina, and then there’s this barn farm???? 👍👍🌴🌴🌴💜💜💜
