The place is beautiful, the food is generous and delicious, and it's fantastic for kids. Alessandro and Serena made us feel completely at home and made our stay unforgettable. We'll definitely be back!

The Podere is a great place for all ages to experience authentic Tuscany, especially families. We loved the big pool and all the child-friendly animals, and Gada and Flo, the two dogs, were very sweet. Alessandro's pony ride was great fun. Serena's cooking impressed us, and we got to learn Tuscan cooking secrets in a class. The Lasagna was perfect! We spent a week here with our family.

Olive groves and vineyards surround the property, making it a lovely spot to unwind and get away from everyday life. The Tuscan hills and countryside views are stunning.

We stayed in the Olivo apartment, with its own garden and a gate leading straight to the stables. Our daughter loved the animals, and Alessandro and Serena took time to answer her many questions. Thanks especially to Maria, who took her to feed the animals, including Dante the boar. We visited in early September and the weather, as well as Podere Il Poggiolo, didn't disappoint. From the moment we arrived, my family felt welcome. The Tuscan dinner was amazing and left us all completely full. I'd recommend staying here if you're after a Tuscan escape.

The farm sits on a mountainside with an incredible view, and it's so peaceful and wholesome that we could have spent days there without going anywhere. Serena's kitchen was impeccable. Every fresh-made meal was hearty and delicious. You can go horseback riding with Alessandro during the day or watch the animals being fed. The pool is lovely, and there are walks nearby. It's very family-friendly and suits all ages. Many thanks to owners Alessandro and Serena, their lovely team, and their animal family. We had a beautiful stay and hope to return as soon as we can. Ciao! xx
