The spa area was nice, but the rest of the experience was disappointing. I was pregnant and hoping for a relaxing break, and had told the hotel weeks ahead in my booking about my dietary needs, including a request for pasteurized cheese at breakfast. We stayed four nights. I asked each morning, and also spoke to reception about the following days, but there was never any cheese available. That left me struggling to find something suitable to eat, since relying on cake and sugar during pregnancy isn’t healthy or recommended. The hospitality also felt lacking. Staff didn’t ask about coffee orders at breakfast, and seemed to roll their eyes when we tried to get their attention. The poor service seemed widespread, not limited to one or two employees.

We had such a restful stay in this little paradise. The staff were friendly, and the bar was great, with snacks alongside the drinks that made you want to order another. There are several pools, plenty of jacuzzis, showers and saunas. Sitting by the pool and taking in the mountain view across the phenomenal grounds was a lovely way to spend the day.

Rain kept us indoors all day while we were in the area, so my husband and I decided to try a full day at the spa. We’re not really spa people and hadn’t done this before, but it turned into a lovely day and one of the most memorable parts of our honeymoon. The lunch was included, which was a nice surprise, and it was 10/10. Staff were informative and helpful, and the pools and saunas were clean and great. There were lots of places to relax and unwind. Highly recommend.

The food was beautiful to look at and tasted just as good, and the hotel itself is lovely, with lots of different pools and saunas for a relaxing break. We couldn’t give five stars because of the atmosphere in the adult pool area. We were there to unwind and weren’t being noisy or bothering anyone, but we were one of the only families who didn’t speak Italian. Some of us do speak Italian, so we understood when we were asked not to move the chairs closer together. After that, the lifeguard went over to an Italian-speaking guest and spoke badly about us. Even before this, we’d had cold looks and hardly any greetings. The gentleman seemed more focused on staring at us than doing a lap of the pool to pick up the garbage that had been lying around since the 28th. During our visit there were only two lifeguards: one polite woman and this gentleman, who clearly needs a refresher in how to treat paying guests. The kitchen was very good, and I’d recommend half board. Dinner included an excellent four-course menu as well as a salad and fruit bar. I also appreciated that they could accommodate dietary needs and allergies. Staff in both the cleaning and restaurant areas were wonderful, attentive and friendly.
