The tortelloni were a highlight, and the game dishes with cervo and capriolo were just as impressive. We had two fantastic dinners at Il Picchio last week, and the drive from Pietramurata was absolutely worth it. Everything tasted delicious and homemade, with local ingredients. The owner is such a gentle, lovely person, and her brother, the Chef, clearly knows his craft. Prices were very reasonable too. One of our best meals in years. We hope to return next year. We stopped in for lunch in July 2022. The staff were friendly and the prices seemed fair for the food, which was average. The place could use some restoration.

After a pretty bad mountain biking crash today, I stopped here even though we weren’t really customers. They were so kind and helpful, and went out of their way to find a doctor for me. Mille mille grazie!
