Casa Al Fiume is well equipped, with a high standard and a peaceful setting. It’s a bit outside town, about a 15-minute walk or 3-5 minutes by car. Google Maps shows the wrong spot, on the other side of the river branch. I’d highly recommend staying here, including with kids.

There’s plenty of room to walk around the guesthouse along the canal, and the grounds are especially nice if you’re traveling with a dog. Dogs can even come to the pool. There’s a supermarket and restaurant close by, and the dog-friendly beach is a 15-minute drive away. The accommodation is quaint and attractive, with clean rooms that were perfectly adequate for us. The kitchen could use an oven, a coffee machine, and a few more utensils, though.

We really appreciated how helpful and friendly everyone was. When the owner’s navigation directions couldn’t get us to the campsite because of bridge construction some distance away, we called and they came to collect us by car. The next day our motorhome got a flat tire. The owner drove with my husband to a local tire shop and arranged an appointment for the following day. It all worked out smoothly. Thanks to the operators for making everything so easy. We had the campsite to ourselves. The pool wasn’t open yet because of the season, and the toilet and shower room wasn’t heated, though the water was very hot. The green surroundings were lovely and peaceful. It’s a good area for dog owners, but be ready for dogs to be off leash at any time. We’d highly recommend the campsite.
