Villa Amì

The setting at Villa Ami is magical, tucked into the mountains with stunning views and the ruins of an old church at the edge of the property. It was a lovely place to unwind and recharge, away from the Amalfi crowds, with a bit of privacy. The staff were so lovely, especially Imma, who made everything feel warm and enjoyable. We had some memorable chats with her about the books we were reading. Antico Borgo is only a 5-6 minute walk away, and we ate there several times. The food was always excellent. We had a wonderful stay and would be very happy to come back.

Huge thanks to the team for being so helpful and accommodating during our Amalfi trip. They helped arrange for our bags to be carried through the hills and sorted out our transfers. The fresh cake they make every day was such a lovely treat. I'd 100% stay again on my next visit to Amalfi.

Every morning we woke to a beautiful sunrise over the mountain, and Sandra greeted us warmly and asked if we'd like fresh coffee as the sun came up. The view was exceptional. Sandra looked after us at breakfast and made sure we had everything, from coffee and eggs to homegrown fruit and vegetables. The owner got up at 5am every morning to bake fresh cake. Breakfast set us up perfectly for the day, and we always left smiling because Sandra was so kind and keen to hear about the adventures we had planned around the Amalfi Coast. The accommodation was superb and spotless. It was cleaned each day while we were out, and the fridge was stocked so we could stay hydrated. Coming back after a day out, it was a peaceful place to relax. This was the start of our honeymoon, and it couldn't have been better. They kicked it off with champagne and cakes, and gave us a place we will always love and people we'll never forget. The staff made us feel so welcome and special, and we're forever grateful we chose Villa Ami.

We had an amazing time at Villa Amy and I'd really recommend staying here. The view is breathtaking, and while the rooms are pretty small, they're super clean and comfortable. Breakfast is simple but great, and the hospitality is wonderful. The people there helped us with everything. Just be aware, there are a lot of steps down from the parking area to the hotel.
