Immobiliare Turistcasa - Ponza

Our apartment was small but charming, furnished with great taste, and had a terrace looking over the harbor. We stayed a week on Ponza. It was perfectly clean, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning ran quietly, and there was lots of storage in both the room and bathroom. The little kitchen even had two bottles of water in the fridge. Maurizio welcomed us warmly at the harbor, and Stefania shared plenty of ideas for things to do around the island. They’re both lovely hosts, and it’s clear they want their guests to have a great stay. We’ll definitely return to Ponza and would happily book with Stefania again! 😍

The agency at Corso Umberto 111 handled things very unprofessionally. I booked an apartment for August 2025, but they were slow to reply to my emails. When my father had to go to the hospital, I had to cancel the trip, and the agency refused to accept it. They charged me 1000 euros, and we're very disappointed. There was also a severe storm in Switzerland and northern Italy on our departure day, and the Italian railway was on strike.

Stefania and the other woman at the agency were friendly and helpful during our three nights at "Porto sicuro." The house is in a great spot near the center and port, handy for evenings out and trips to Frontone beach. The extra charges and the house itself were disappointing. Sheets and towels weren't included, and cost €20 per person, which felt excessive on top of the already high room rate. The kitchen was missing what we consider basics, like salt, sugar, oil, coffee, napkins, a tablecloth, and dishcloths. There are two bathrooms, but the shower tucked into a corner of the ensuite bathroom is so small it's impossible to use. We also paid €50 for "final cleaning," but weren't happy with how clean the house was.

The staff were helpful at first, but our stay didn't end up being a positive one. A gas system fault in an adjacent apartment, also managed by the same agency, caused problems for us. It was serious and called for more responsibility, but we didn't feel protected or listened to with the attention we deserved.
