The view from the terrace over the port is amazing, and the garden is lovely. Our room was clean and serviced every day. Breakfast was simple Italian fare but tasty, and there was enough for us. The owner was very helpful and drove us to the port with our heavy luggage at checkout. The breakfast staff, though, weren’t very friendly or smiley. Getting to Villa Pina is a real challenge, with steep stairs and almost vertical paths. It’s manageable if you’re young and fit, but I can’t imagine my parents staying here. Without a scooter or car, every walk back is a struggle. I wouldn’t have booked for 9 days if I’d known how hard access would be. The other major issue was WiFi. Despite what the website and Booking.com say, it didn’t work in the rooms, only in a tiny area near reception. We were visiting from abroad without unlimited Italian mobile data and had to pay extra for expensive data packages. For 8 nights, the beautiful views and clean rooms couldn’t make up for those problems. The high Booking.com ratings didn’t match our experience.

The flower garden, with its pastel colors, made breakfast such a lovely spot, especially with that breathtaking view of Ponza. Mrs. Pina was warm and helpful, and had plenty of stories to share. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed, and the staff were kind and attentive. I’d be very happy to come back.

We had such a short trip as a couple that we barely got enough time to take in the amazing view from the property. The staff were impeccable, everything was spotless, and the value was excellent. We’d recommend it and will make it our regular choice whenever we can.
