Villa Caotorta

The villa and garden are so beautiful I could sit and look at them for hours, and breakfast was unbelievably good. The owners’ hospitality was amazing too. I was there on a business trip, but they made it feel like a proper holiday. I’m usually a bit stressed when I travel for work, yet this place helped me relax, slow down, and even feel more creative. Mara and Valerio have a rare way of looking after people. Their kindness comes through in small, sincere gestures, and during a difficult time for me, their quiet sensitivity and attention helped me feel better and welcome like family. I stayed here for a couple of nights with my fiancé, and the warmth of the place turned it into a precious memory. The villa is set in an enchanting park where time seems to slow down. The garden is lovingly cared for and a walk through it feels rejuvenating. Inside, the period furnishings preserve the villa’s character and create a peaceful, intimate feel. There are only two rooms, so it’s quiet and feels like an ideal retreat for couples. Breakfast was another lovely part of the stay. Mara asked what we liked and prepared organic, wholesome products she had carefully chosen. It felt homely, with the added touch of genuine hospitality. Ponzano is only 15 minutes from Treviso, so you get both the convenience of the city and the feeling of a peaceful haven. I recommend this villa if you’re looking for more than a place to sleep, somewhere beautiful, intimate, and full of genuine warmth.

We spent two nights at this beautiful villa with our daughter, who’s almost three. The garden and villa are enchanting, meticulously cared for, very clean, and well maintained. What you eat and use is organic. Mara is a fantastic host, and she and her husband really pamper their guests. When they found out a little girl was staying, they went out of their way to find her a chair and baked cookies for her to take home. They also dug out stickers from an attic trunk, which made her so happy. Breakfast was full of thoughtful touches: scrambled eggs from their own garden hens, desserts made with their own jams, fruit, and everything else offered with care. You won’t find that everywhere, and the price is fair. I travel often for work and pleasure, but I’ve never felt this good. They even turned on the heating for us on a sunny weekend, and that kind of attention isn’t something everyone offers. Thank you for everything, Mrs. Mara and Mr. Valerio. We can’t wait to come back.
