Fresh meals, so delicious, and clean, really big apartments. The pool was clean too. We spent five nights here with our family while organizing our wedding, and had an amazing time. The owners are so helpful, sending hugs, and we felt like we’d known them for years. Best team and best place ever. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Tuscany, or even Italy, you have to go!

The room was clean and breakfast was delicious. We were the only weekend guests who weren’t part of a 70th birthday party being held there. Mauro and Johanna still did their absolute best to make us comfortable. The downside was that with all 42 birthday guests keeping them busy, we couldn’t try their wonderful food. A very nice place!

The owner was fantastic, greeting us in the evening and helping with our bags. We could still use the kitchen around 9:30 pm, which was great, and our requests were taken care of quickly. The whole stay felt very authentic, the breakfast was great, and both the pool and rooms were excellent.

Mauro and Leo were flexible and a lot of fun to work with, and their hospitality made our stay an even happier part of the occasion. My son and his wife got married in Poppi this past May, and we were fortunate to book Poggio a Poppi in Poppi Italy. Mauro and Johanna reserved the whole villa for family, which also let me host a fabulous welcome party there. Before we arrived, communication was steady and stress free. Leo and Mauro greeted us warmly and enthusiastically, and made sure our needs were met. Mauro and the staff prepared delicious, generous meals when requested. At breakfast, Antonio made sure coffee and cappuccino came out on time, always with a smile. Breakfast exceeded expectations.
