We only stopped for drinks at first, then came back for dinner. The regional dishes were delicious, especially the perfect pasta and tender, slow-cooked beef. The dessert was interesting too. Service was friendly, and the setting by the waterfall is fantastic. You can drop fish food down to the fish far below.

The food is very good, and the setting right on the waterfall of the Staggia river is one of a kind.

We had dinner here twice. The menu was quite difficult to read, and the food was simple and good, but nothing more. We ordered two glasses of wine, and both had a lot of sediment at the bottom. One was sludgy. When we asked, staff said the wine wasn’t filtered, so this was normal. Some sediment may be normal, but serving it in guests’ glasses and expecting them to enjoy it isn’t, especially when they paid for wine, not sludge. The staff were rather neutral, and we felt more like intruders than guests. The wait for service and courses was acceptable. If you want good food with good service and a pleasant atmosphere, there are many better places in Stia.

A warm, welcoming spot for Italian coffee and pastries. In the evening, the local food is very good too.

The whole experience was really good: prompt, kind service, great decor and atmosphere, and delicious food. I didn’t expect to find somewhere so hip and tasty. The prices were astounding, 40€ for two people to have a huge meal with wine. The beef was my favorite, cooked perfectly medium rare even though we hadn’t specified. The beef stew was incredible too, as was the charcuterie board.
