The stone bridge beside the inn and the picturesque village make a lovely setting. I only came for lunch with friends, so I can't speak to the rooms, but the staff were warm and the restaurant is charming. The local traditional dishes were tasty and made with good ingredients. Those fried mushrooms, though, were incredible, maybe the best I've ever had.

We loved how far off the beaten track it is, with hiking, waterfalls, swimming, or just a quiet spot to read. The albergo sits in a charming old stone house in a beautiful mountain village. Breakfast was outstanding, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Don't skip dinner, the chef is great.

At Al Vecchio Convento, you feel welcomed with genuine interest. It's an authentic Italian hotel, with lovely nature around it and fantastic food. A great place to stay, with that Italian hospitality.

We stayed for two nights in October and had dinner both evenings, including my birthday dinner. I loved the atmosphere and the location, and the food and wine were incredible. Breakfast was great too. It was my first time trying truffles and deer, and I loved it 🥰

The food was such a treat, local and seasonal, rooted in tradition but creative too. And every staff member was wonderful. Marisa, Ulla, and Matteo were especially kind, generous, and patient, and I've never met a more gracious, welcoming host. My family and I hope to return very soon. Thank you for the wonderful memories from this vacation.
