For what you pay, the value is hard to beat. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff kind and respectful, and the food at the restaurant was fresh and enjoyable. Breakfast was generous too.

A peaceful place with a lovely welcome and a very nice location. I'd recommend it.

That waiter was the one bright spot: he was very friendly. The rest of our 10 days in room 101 were a disappointment, and I really don't understand the positive reviews for this "hotel." The room was beside reception and the lobby, across from the dining terrace, so noise started around 6:45 a.m. and carried on until about 11 p.m. It was tiny, dark, poorly ventilated, and so thin-walled that we could hear every conversation, snore, and fart next door. The so-called balcony was a joke, and there was an old fold-down bed against the wall. A small fridge stood in front of a chest of drawers, making it unusable. The TV had no German channels. The bathroom had no window, just glass blocks, and was badly kept. The toilet was filthy, mold covered the cramped shower and wall tiles, and the water wouldn't drain properly, leaving the shower tray full. Disgusting. The hotel is about 70 meters from a very busy road. To reach the sandy beach, you have to cross it for the roughly 15-minute walk, which felt somewhat dangerous with small children. The hotel exit was confusing too. There was nothing nearby, including restaurants, so we had to use the car for everything. We booked half-board for that reason. Breakfast had no rolls or fruit; boiled eggs were only available on request, toast came from a bag, and it was the same every day. The coffee machines didn't work properly. Dinner was a three-course meal in name, but the cheap, sometimes frozen food was carelessly presented and mostly tasteless. I wouldn't call it cooking. Cafeteria food is probably better. 4G reception was very poor, though 5G worked better. The hotel Wi-Fi required an email address, and then came spam. No thanks. In response to the hotel's comment: There really was mold in the bathroom, including by the towels hanging outside the shower. We booked a double room, not a standard, economy, low-cost, or best-price room. If room 101 had been shown and described accurately, hardly anyone would choose it. The food was simply bad, as many honest online reviews and conversations with other guests confirmed. If you rent out a room like this with half-board, accept the criticism instead of complaining about bad reviews.
