The water is beautiful, and the beach itself isn't very big. The umbrellas, bars, and other services are good quality for the price.

The Taranga bar is nearby and handy for a good lunch or anything else you need. The beach is long and sandy, with gorgeous colors in the water. Parking is along dirt roads. Definitely worth a visit.

I found this stretch of Ionian coast, still fairly unknown to most people, with a beautiful sea and beach. Even on Sunday and Monday, August 15th, it wasn't too crowded, perhaps because there aren't beach clubs here. There are no bars or restrooms either, and I didn't spot any portable toilets. The water is so clear you can almost slip into it without noticing, even wearing just fins. About twenty meters out, where it's around two meters deep, some rocks shelter a varied, if somewhat limited, range of marine life.

It's a gorgeous public beach with crystal-clear water. Such a shame that tourists and locals alike leave rubbish everywhere. We humans keep polluting every place we go. Can we learn to respect this poor planet?
