The place felt brand new and made for a great stay. We liked the beaches at Lido di Noto and San Lorenzo, both a short drive away. Avola and Marzameni were close too.

The photos gave a misleading impression. The place was in poor condition and smelled of mold. The rooms were spread out, and one had no window. Air came in through the door opening onto an outdoor space, so staying cool meant giving up privacy. There was no shower curtain, and the TV antenna cable was too short to be useful. The kitchen had no table and wasn’t really usable. If it had rained, we wouldn’t have been able to eat lunch there.
