Casa al centro, a 30 metri dalla spiaggia

The house is spacious, with three bedrooms, a bathroom, a roomy kitchen, and a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. Prices are unfortunately high, as they often are in Salento, but the house and location are worth it. The staff at Sasinae Viaggi are really friendly.

We spent two weeks in the apartment on the second floor. The rooms are spacious, with air conditioning and ceiling fans, while the furnishings are simple but functional. The balcony is very narrow. With the windows open, you can hear the sea and get plenty of breeze, so we didn't need the fan at night. The washing machines are downstairs, though, and there's nowhere to hang laundry except a small drying rack on the balcony. Some shelves in the bathroom would be useful too.

The terrace is spacious and has a spectacular view of Torre Lapillo beach, and you step straight onto the free beach. The stretch right in front is rocky, though; walk 100 meters and it's perfect. Inside, the apartment has three large bedrooms, lots of space and equipment, including a hairdryer and iron, plus a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and plenty of roomy closets. The bathroom feels small for the apartment and is inconveniently accessible only from the living area. There's no elevator, and the floors need updating. The price is a little above average.

The ground-floor casa 2 made it so easy to head back and forth to the free beach right across from the building. I came back to Torre Lapillo after 30 years and loved staying right by that incredible sea. The apartment was spotless and welcoming, with everything we needed, plus a handy patio with a table, chairs, and private showers. There was air conditioning and a ceiling fan in every room. Francesca greeted us warmly and professionally, and explained all the details for a great stay. We’ll definitely return.
