Hotel da Ettore Hotel

We didn’t use a car at all during our 10 days, with shops, restaurants, and plenty more nearby, and the port and sea very close. Hotel da Ettore is centrally located. Our deluxe room was gorgeous, with a sea view, large bathroom, and all the amenities. It was cleaned and the linens changed every morning. Breakfast was a highlight: varied sweet and savory choices, fresh fruit, cakes each morning, and traditional Apulian desserts. Salvatore, the owner, was attentive and always available, and he offers free bikes to guests. A wonderful holiday. We’ll definitely return. Thank you!

The hotel has no elevator yet, though one is in the works. Porto Cesareo is very flat, making it suitable for people with mobility disabilities, and inclusiveness is another strength of this beautiful Salento town. We hope to return soon for another summer holiday at Hotel Ettore. Thank you for giving us such a peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere. We stayed from July 12th to 21st and found it peaceful, pleasant, and safe. The place was welcoming, tidy, clean, bright, and fragrant. The family management really sets it apart: Mr. Salvatore, his sweet wife, and their beautiful little girl brought tenderness and joy to each day. Staff at reception, in the breakfast room, and doing room service were all professional, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are on two floors. The recently renovated deluxe rooms are beautiful and have balconies. Economy rooms are comfortable, with private bathrooms and showers. Some don’t have balconies, but do have windows and access to the roof terrace, furnished with outdoor seating and offering a spectacular view of Isola dei Conigli plus a 360° view of Porto Cesareo. All rooms have air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, a safe, and daily linen changes. The new mattresses are incredibly comfortable. The location is right in the center, a few steps from the port, Piazza Risorgimento, Via Nazario Sauro, Torre Cesarea, Cappella della Madonna del Soccorso, free beaches, and lidos. Streets near Via Parini have shops and restaurants just around the corner. There’s a bar in the entrance hall and a large breakfast room on the ground floor. Breakfast is varied and plentiful, with savory Apulian specialties and sweet treats. Coffee and cappuccino are served at your table with care and attention to detail. Porto Cesareo is great for long walks, bike rides, and boat trips. We had a wonderful time at Lido dei Pirati in the Torre Chianca bay on Via dei Bacini.

I’ve stayed as a customer six times in different years and seasons, and I’ve always been satisfied. Salvatore is friendly and happy to share information if you need it. The road is narrow, but he gave me a “receipt” to display on my dashboard, which let me park for free in the paid spaces.

The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming, and breakfast was varied and plentiful. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Da Ettore Hotel from July 14th to 22nd. The central location in Porto Cesareo was great, and we loved the furnished terrace with its breathtaking views, especially at sunset, when it feels romantic. Our economy room was spacious and clean. We also enjoyed taking lovely bike rides with bikes provided by the hotel. They provide a pass for the restricted traffic zone too. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much.
