We went for just two days in September, Monday and Tuesday, and I really enjoyed it. The beach was wide and clean, and the food was good quality for a low price. There were free toilets and showers, though you had to pay to use the showers. Two beach chairs and an umbrella for 10 euro was a bargain, but that was probably because it was September. Parking was included too. I'm pretty sure I'll come back next year.
The beach and flat access to the sea are great for little kids, and the location is excellent. But the sunshades take up far too much of the available beach. They're packed ridiculously close together, and there's barely any room between the first row and the shoreline. You have to pay to shower. I didn't try the toilets, so I can't say whether those cost extra too. For the scandalous prices you pay for a lido in Salento, and Lido Max is no exception, I'd expect more consideration for customers.
I didn't expect the seafood risotto to be so delicious. Definitely recommend it 😁
The sea was clean and the sand white, though not everyone kept things tidy. I saw plastic bags and cups in the water. It's a very popular place for swimming.
Soft sand, clear shallow water, and a nice beach.
