Comfortable, quiet, and a great space, with a good owner. There’s no elevator, but that was fine. It’s an affordable alternative to Agrigento in a small working port town.

The price was reasonable, and Calogero, the owner, was welcoming and gave us great suggestions for places to visit and eat. The rooms are modern and well equipped, though the building itself dates from the early 20th century. Everything was clean and tidy, and the room was beautiful, soundproofed, and had excellent air conditioning. No trouble with the hot water either. Highly recommended, we’ll be back.

The owner was so kind. He waited downstairs to help us with our luggage and had already cooled the room with the air conditioning. Everything was spotless and tidy, with all we needed for a comfortable stay. We only stayed one night at this B&B, but it was enough to earn five stars. The location is excellent for exploring the area.

Despite being right in the center of Porto Empedocle, this stay was a disappointment. The rooms and bathroom were spacious, but the TV remote was broken and the minibar didn’t get drinks cold enough. The listing said second floor with no elevator, but it felt more like the fourth floor, with 5-meter-high walls and the first floor being a second floor. Breakfast was advertised as a large buffet, but all we got was a voucher for coffee and a croissant at a bar. The rooms weren’t made up either. We were told that because of COVID they only clean them every two days, who knows. One to forget.
