Breakfast was generous, full of local products, and came with an enchanting view and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are bright, welcoming, spotlessly clean, and have every comfort. The property is meticulously cared for, with the sea and town center only minutes away, and the Scala dei Turchi and Valley of the Temples also close by. What made the stay especially memorable was Calogero Stagno. He’s incredibly kind and helpful, and made us feel like family. He was always ready with useful advice, less touristy places to visit, restaurants where we could eat really well, or just a genuine chat. His smile and hospitality made all the difference. La Rosa dei Venti in Porto Empedocle feels like a little corner of Sicily that stays with you. If you want to experience the sea, beauty, simplicity, and wonderful people, I recommend this B&B. Calogero was so friendly and kind, and breakfast was included each morning, with delicious coffee and pastries from the bakery downstairs. We even tried the cafeteria for lunch on our own. I stayed four days with friends, and the apartment was a great base: the main street in Porto Empedocle is a 10-minute walk away, and the Scala dei Turchi and Valley of the Temples are easy to reach by car.

The host even offered to help me ship a toy my daughter had left behind, which was really kind. We stayed three days and found the house comfortable, newly furnished, and with a little terrace under a gazebo where we could eat. The location is handy for the sights. The supermarket isn't very close, though the bakery downstairs is superb. We bought both sweet and savory things there and loved them. Highly recommended.

The sandy beach across the street is beautiful, family-friendly, and quiet during the week. We were warmly welcomed by our young host and his parents, who are bakers, and got delicious regional biscuits. Their other bakery specialties are available any time, too. The apartment is new, practical, and clean, with a lovely private terrace. Highly recommended!
