B & B Perfume do Mar

A really good place near a beautiful sea.

The owners made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, and their hospitality was the highlight for us. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully furnished, with lots of attention to detail. The location worked perfectly for getting around on foot. The B&B is just steps from the sea and not far from the city center. Breakfast was amazing too. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend it to anyone.

This central Porto San Giorgio B&B is in a renovated building that still has original touches, including the flooring. Our quadruple room had a small balcony and a window, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. The bathroom was spacious with a shower, but had no window. It was noisy, which isn’t surprising with so many rooms and a location right in the center. Cleanliness could use more attention. In our case, the beds weren’t cleaned or made, and we were told, “for a two-day stay, a B&B doesn’t do that!” Breakfast was nothing special.

I went in mid-March after reading glowing reviews, and left disappointed. The room felt cold and very shabby. I contacted the owner but got no reply. Since I was only there briefly, I didn’t follow up, and personally I wouldn’t recommend the place. The location really is excellent, and breakfast in the morning was just as good. There are places to park nearby, though I suspect parking could be harder when it’s busier.
