Boutique Hotel Torre di Cala Piccola

For our honeymoon weekend I wanted somewhere romantic and a little special, and this place was just right. The room was stunning, with mountains and the sea in view. Staff were friendly and helpful without hovering.

The sunset from here was the best we saw anywhere on the island, and the beach nearby felt like something from a movie. My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and loved how special the place felt. The staff were so kind and helpful, and Stefannia the director went around meeting guests and making them feel like friends. The bar’s aperitivo and bottle service were great and very affordable. I’d definitely ask about renting a boat. One of my favorite celebrities was staying here too, but I’ll keep his name private. I highly recommend it.

We’re already hoping to return to Cala Piccola soon. The weather and views were perfect while we were there, and the reception team helped arrange day trips, activities, and private shuttle rides to Porto Santo Stefano or Porto Ercole for dinner away from the hotel. We spent just under a week at Torre di Cala Piccola, and it was a special, memorable stay. Stefania, the hotel manager, and the rest of the staff were wonderfully hospitable. We ate breakfast, lunch, evening aperitivo, and dinner on the property. The sunsets were breathtaking, and the atmosphere was peaceful and romantic. It would suit couples or families with kids or dogs.

The drive is worth it for this beautiful hotel and its gorgeous views. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but the staff are warm and welcoming. If you want a relaxing place outside Rome, this is a lovely option. The beach cove is rocky, so I’d bring water shoes next time.
