There were 19 of us at dinner as a family, and the seven course meal was so special I don't have enough words for it. The hotel is gorgeous, and the ambiance and location made the evening even more memorable. It added something extra special to our time in Portofino. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Michelle, the General Manager, was so attentive and welcoming, and Marcelo at reception greeted us with real kindness and helped plan our days around Portofino. At the bar, David made outstanding cocktails and gave us a personalized mixology class that was fun and memorable. Chef Rocco's pesto class was full of flavor and tradition, and we loved it. Eduardo and Antonio were kind and attentive while serving us incredible meals. The sommelier, whose name I unfortunately can't remember, suggested two wines that paired perfectly with our dishes. Splendido Mare itself is magnificent, with a magical atmosphere, comfort and attention to detail. My boyfriend and I loved every second of our unforgettable stay. The whole team took such care of us from the very first moment. I wish I could remember everyone's name, because every person we met helped make it special. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and can't wait to return! ❤️

Right in the heart of Portofino, Splendido Mare is only steps from the harbor, yet still feels private and calm. It has easy access to the best restaurants, shops and scenic walks. The elegant rooms and impeccable service carry a timeless Italian charm, and the staff are warm, attentive and genuinely keen to make your stay memorable. A rare mix of luxury and welcome. Wonderful hotel, and I'd definitely return.

We spent our honeymoon at Belmond Splendido, and the thoughtful welcome made the experience feel special straight away: champagne, a bowl of fruit, treats and a handwritten note. The staff were warm and kind throughout, and their attention to detail made us feel at home. Our room was enormous, with a spacious bathroom and a balcony looking over Portofino. The views at sunset were breathtaking, and I could have stayed out there forever. The new feminine décor has the elegance and charm of the Italian Riviera's golden days while still feeling fresh and timeless. We loved lounging by the infinity pool with its sweeping views, and the terrace evenings with live music were fun and romantic. Breakfast was incredible, with fresh items each morning and the BEST egg dish I've ever had. The hotel is pure dream material, and every detail felt perfect. Belmond Splendido made our honeymoon extraordinary. It's without a doubt the BEST hotel we've ever stayed in. I wish I could move in and never leave, and can't wait to return. Thank you, Splendido!
