B&B Extremosud Portopalo di Capopassero

Rita was incredibly kind and ready to help with anything, and her parents, who live downstairs, are wonderful people. Thanks as well to Giusy, the cleaning lady, for looking after our room. We spent a week here in August and found the B&B well equipped and very well located close to the center. Breakfast was plentiful, with sweet and savory choices that varied every other day.

Restaurants, bars, and bakeries are all close by and easy to reach on foot, and the location was perfect. My family and I had a great time. The room was clean and welcoming, with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a fridge, coffee machine, and en-suite bathroom. Tablecloths were changed and the room cleaned daily. There was excellent fruit each morning, plus a top-notch breakfast with croissants, muffins, milk, and plenty more. Rita, the owner, and the woman who lives downstairs were both very kind. I highly recommend it.

The rooms were clean and well looked after, and the location made it easy to walk to nearby bars and restaurants. There’s also a splendid sea just a few kilometers away, including Portopalo, Isola di Capo Passero, and Isola delle Correnti. I’d recommend the property for a relaxing vacation. Breakfast could be better in quality and variety, though, and the customer service didn’t always make us feel comfortable.

The only real bright spot was the owners’ parents, who lived below us and were exceptionally kind. The owner was absent, and the dishes were sparse and dirty. We stayed in August 2022. Breakfast had been described as varied, but it was just croissants every day, and some weren’t good quality. The rooms and kitchen area weren’t cleaned well. The shower head was broken, the towels weren’t changed, and there wasn’t even any toilet paper.
