Worn and neglected.

That little balcony was barely usable, even though we had booked a sea-view room with one. There was hardly space for one person, let alone two, and parking also came at an extra cost in the blue-lined spaces. On the brighter side, the pool was lovely and genuinely relaxing, the staff were warm and helpful, and the hotel itself is well cared for. Our room was small and a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the real letdown: not much choice and poor quality for a hotel of this standard. We had a pleasant stay, though breakfast took a lot away from the experience.

The only thing that could be better is the WiFi. The rooms are clean, nicely finished and kept in good condition, and the staff are helpful with excellent service. It’s quiet here and handy for exploring the Cinque Terre.

Watching the sunset with an aperitif beside the pool was a special experience, and the sea view is beautiful. The property is also well placed for visiting the city, with excellent service. We booked through Hotiday, a new hotel chain, and had a great experience. They helped us throughout the booking, and in the room we found useful extras, including a multi-socket phone charger. Their app also offers suggestions for things to do nearby.
